falling in love.

Holly asked her if she has ever been in love. She didn't know what to tell her. Has she really been in love? Or was it only an infatuation? As Holly kept looking at her, kept asking her to answer it, and waiting for the reply, her heart started to beat faster, and faster, and faster. She honestly did not know what to say. She knows she's loved before. She knows she fallen hard before. But being 'in love' is something she did not know if that was something yet she had experienced. But what is it like to be in love? Do you get butterflies everytime you see each other? Is every kiss always like the first? Does leaving them become more painful the more you fall in love with them? I want to know what being in love feels like. Maybe so I can just answer the question for Holly.. Or maybe because I want somebody to feel that way about me. But I just need to come to terms with it... It's not happening any time soon.
