Laughing because somebody said something that appealed to you, or smiling because somebody said something sweet, and you just love them, does not mean you are happy. I think it's quite funny how people can think everybody is okay just because they pull a smile, or they can make them laugh. The truth is that they're not happy. And laughing doesn't have anything to do with being happy. You laugh because what was said, makes you laugh. It. Was. Funny. Or sad. Whatever.
Smiling, is also something that you can do without being happy. Me for example. Just spent the whole day laughing and smiling and loving a lot. But does that mean I'm happy? No. It doesn't.
Being happy is a different concept. But unless I get pulled in from the rain, healed from this pain, held close in love, then I don't think it's going to be that easy to make me happy again. It's going to be a long process. And you wont hold onto me for the duration of the journey. I know it.
